This may seem like a generalization and in sorts it is, but this tends to be the hobby of choice for many Emo kids.

Although Emo is classed as a fashion trend, it is very much a combination of many things including the makeup, hairstyles, clothes, music and attitude. To be a real Emo kid then you need to have all of these things thrown together with a look that is usually very dark and rather somber.
